Lana Lang

Lana closed her eyes as the salty breeze sweep across the beach, blowing what was left of that signature long, dark hair behind back behind her head. She couldn't remember this last time she'd felt this at peace, or if she ever had at all. It had been about two months since she'd arrived in Reefside and it already felt like home. Somehow, she felt like she fit here in a way she never had in Smallville or Metropolis. She wasn't quite sure what it was about the place, but whatever it was, she was glad she'd found it.

When her eyes opened again, she spotted Tommy, who was making quite a fool of himself down in the water. She'd thought him so serious when they'd first met, but learned rather slowly there was more than one side to him. In some ways he reminded her of Clark, but in others he was entirely different. No matter what she revealed to him about her past, he never looked at her with judgment, but with understanding. How he could was still a mystery she wanted to unravel, but she was far too content with the way things were to risk the damage her prying might do.

Lana still wasn't sure how she felt about him, but that was okay. This time, she would take things slow and steady.
