So he wasn't exactly expecting her. Honestly this wasn't where she was expecting to be, either. Lana and Oliver both lead very busy lives, and their day by day activities were pretty much planned out for them at least a week in advance. In addition to their regular jobs, Oliver was moonlighting as Green Arrow, and Lana had her own little side projects that she kept to herself. It left little time to really get together and chat.

Today, however, she'd had the opportunity to go and stretch her legs, and on this walk of hers she'd passed by a pet store. Any other time it may have reminded her of Shelby, but this time she thought of Loxley, the adorable little kitten the archer had taken into his home. She took the opportunity to get her a little something, just a simple squeaky ball, the color green, of course. As soon as she'd walked out the door, she decided to follow the whim through and hand deliver the gift right away.

Part of her knew this wasn't about the cat. She wanted to see Ollie. She missed him.
