[ooc: Set several hours after this thing that we started a long friggin time ago. Should have gotten this up sooner.]
It had been a long drive from Smallville to wherever it was they were now. Honestly, Lana hadn't been paying attention. There had been a little talking in the car, but she had mostly listened to whatever conversation was going on, fiddled with her phone or iPod...or watched Sam from the corner of her eye. She couldn't exactly put her finger on it, but there was something very familiar about him, like she'd met him somewhere before. But if she had, she was sure she would have remembered him.
Now they were all settling into their rooms. As she expected, Chloe was wholly set on sharing a room with Dean instead of her. Hopefully there wouldn't be too much noise filtering in from the other side of the wall.
Lana set her bag on one of the beds and sat beside it, starting to pull off her shoes and make herself comfortable.

Which was him not minding, that it wasn't really a big deal... and he kinda liked it.

Instead he just let his hand fall, then weaved through her arm before he put his hand in his pocket and pulled her closer, giving her a smile.

It was a nice mental picture he planned on storing in his mind for a long time.

He needed to keep his control. She was a beautiful woman sharing his hotel room that thought he was adorable and made jokes about making out who was along for the ride, like him, while Dean and Chloe had a weekend long make-out session.

She went for her bag, taking a few items of clothing and a couple of small bottles: shampoo and conditioner. Sam had his shower before, and now it was her turn.
"I won't be long." A small, slightly flirtatious grin, just before she shut the door behind her. "No peaking."

Though, well ok he might later on. He was male. Instead he turned the TV on and let it play in the background while he sat at the desk and booted up his laptop. He was going to find things that could be done for the rest of the weekend in this town so that he and Lana wouldn't be stuck indoors.
Dean and Chloe were welcome to join if they ever came up for air.

"Doing some research?"

Wow. Um...
"... yeah, so if Dean and Chloe are busy, we... we can have something to do..."

Okay, so it was official: she was flirting with him. Though she didn't think of it as flirting. She wasn't really thinking much, actually. She was completely at ease.

He turned again to look at her.

He kept looking at her, and she knew the kind of looking it was. She couldn't understand why he would be looking at her that way, but she didn't mind.

"Anything else you want to do?"

He didn't have to guess what she was thinking about. Her eyes were focused on his lips. Her mind certainly wasn't on museums or hiking trails.

He was clueless.
