He nodded slowly, relating to her comment well. He was glad she was alone, honestly. Made things a little easier, especially because of the question he was about to ask.

"Um... could I... c-crash here for the night? I... I got kicked out of my apartment, and have nowhere to go..."

It was the truth. He'd gotten evicted, because his new little side job at the Ace of Clubs wasn't footing the bill, and now he was alone, and couldn't bear the thought of spending the night in his car.
