Another day, another date...or maybe it was a few, one right after the other? Either way, Dean and Chloe had been scarce and that left plenty of time for them to spend together, trying to avoid the more depressing parts of their lives. Between the museum and a lesson in horseback riding, one could certainly say the day had been successful, even fun.
Then the night came, one very similar to the night before. There was a kiss that wasn't supposed to linger, which lead to another and then another. Then she was straddling his lap again, part of her wanting to stop, but another, stronger part of her irresistibly drawn to him.
She could feel it already, but she pushed the thought away. She wasn't going to fall for him. She wouldn't let herself. This would just be something she would look back on later and smile at what a wonderful time she'd had. Nothing more.
