She paused for a second before answering. "My mom was a cheerleader...she and my dad died in Smallville's first meteor shower. I wanted to be just like her...but by the time I got to high school, I just got so tired of being around those people. Just the shallowness and the disrespect to anyone who wasn't 'cool' enough...I never really fit in there." She paused again before adding one last thing. "I don't think I ever fit in anywhere..."
