insane100 :: Magical Pixie Horse
[ooc: For the Pick A Type meme:
likely_evil requested intoxicated!Lana. As soon as I saw this
insane100 prompt, I heard one of Sam's lines from SPN 2.13 Houses of the Holy: "Wait... there's no such thing as unicorns?" To see where that took me, just read. Sam is
likely_evil, of course, and used with permission. Dean is
winchesterjerk, mentioned in passing.]
"You can't go riding right now, Lana."
"Uh-huh, can too. I can do what I wanna." She tried to stand, but he grabbed onto her waist and pulled her back down and into his lap.
"Nuh-uh. You're drunk, Lana. You're drunk."
She giggled, turning around a little to poke his nose. "You're drunker."
"That's not even a word!"
"Is now."
"Is not!" He tickled her with his free hand and she laughed and squirmed, trying to get away. After a few seconds, he gave up his tickling and she gave up trying to get away. They just held onto each other while she rested her head on his shoulder.
"When I was a little girl, I wanted to ride a unicorn."
That made him smile. "Really?"
"Mhm. Then my aunt told me they weren't real."
"I thought they were real 'til I was twenty-three."
She laughed, even though somewhere in her mind she knew he might actually be serious.
He looked thoughtful. "...then again, Dean didn't think angels were real 'til a few months ago..."
She lifted her head to look at him and gave him a goofy grin. "So maybe they are real."
He gave one right back. "If they are, I'll hunt one down for you to ride."
She squealed a little at the thought. "You're the best, Sam."
"No, you're the best," he insisted, resting his forehead against hers.
"Nuh-uh."
"Uh-huh."
"Nuh-uh."
"Uh-huh."
"Oh would you shut up and kiss me already?"
He was more than happy to comply.
