Sam actually hadn't been ignoring his phone. He had been sleeping. The fight with Jessie and that demon had worn both him and Dean out, and for the first time in awhile they booked two days in the same place just so they didn't have to be up and out right away.
He groaned and slapped the table a few times, trying to find the offending noisemaker. It went to voicemail just as he finally found it. Rolling onto his back, he squinted his eyes to look at the display, saw it was Lana, and he played the voicemail.
Insantly he sat up in, awake. He dialed her back, hoping that she was still there. "Lana?"
