The dress was new, for a party she wasn't even sure she wanted to go to. She enjoyed these benefits to an extent, but eventually she felt trapped and searched for means of escape. She only managed a few minutes of air before Margie or Oliver, depending on the night, would find her and usher her back in. It was something she had to do, so she made the best of it.
She smoothed her hands over the aqua colored fabric draped loosely over her body, ending just below her knees and cinched in princess fashion by a band of white. She still wasn't sure if this was what she wanted to wear, but lucky for her, she had a special visitor.
Lana left the safety of her bedroom and let her bare feet take her to where he was waiting on the arm of her couch.
"Well...what do you think? The color...it's not too bright is it?"
He just stared at her.
"...Sam?"
